The Law Society of New Brunswick

As indicated in our Newsletter of August 2009, Council decided to proceed with a Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Program to commence January 1st, 2010. Each practising member must complete 12 hours of continuing education/professional development annually. However, it was decided that for the first year of operation, there will be no sanction for non-compliance.

Please note that starting in January 2010, the Law Society will download a list of courses or activities accredited by the Law Society. That registry will be updated on a regular basis.
